History - Weld, Riley, Prenn & Ricci
Since our origin, we have experienced
sustained and steady growth to the
point where we have become one of the
larger law firms in the state north of the
Madison-Milwaukee corridor.
Our goal
is to provide high quality legal service.
We are always looking for ways to
represent our clients better, more
efficiently, and more economically.

Weld, Riley, Prenn & Ricci, SC, was originally formed on January 1, 1991, by the seven attorneys who staffed the Eau Claire office of Mulcahy & Wherry, SC, a Milwaukee based firm.

The practice originally focused only on labor and employment law. In 1995, the estate planning, litigation, business, and worker's compensation sections of two Eau Claire law firms merged with Weld, Riley, Prenn & Ricci, SC, expanding our ability to represent business people and businesses, do estate planning and probate, and represent parties in civil litigation. Our law practice has evolved to emphasize not only labor and employment law, but also worker's compensation, immigration, municipal, administrative, estate planning, business and civil litigation matters. We have both the depth and experience to effectively represent clients.
