Bill's law practice focuses on business formation and
business acquisition; commercial and residential real
estate and estate planning.
Bill has worked extensively with companies, partnerships, and individual clients to achieve their business goals. Bill enjoys partnering with his clients to tackle difficult issues with creative problem solving. His representation of a wide variety of business entities and individuals in diverse situations has prepared Bill to approach transactions with a practical understanding that works to get the deal done.
Bill also acts as personal legal advisor to a number of business owners and individuals, and assists with their legal needs relating to matters such as estate planning and family and other business transitions.
Bill graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in history and political science. Bill received his law degree cum laude from Hamline University School of Law.
Currently Bill serves as President of the Altoona City Council and is past president of The Community Table. He is also a frequent lecturer at seminars on corporate and real estate issues and volunteers at the Eau Claire Free Legal Clinic. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Eau Claire County Bar Association. For the past three years, Bill has been recognized by Law and Politics and Milwaukee Magazine as a Rising Star in business and corporate law.
