Victoria L. Seltun - Weld, Riley, Prenn & Ricci
Vicki is a member of the firm's Labor and
Employment
and Immigration Sections. She
regularly works with the Department of Workforce
Development, Equal Rights Division, Labor and
Industry Review Commission, EEOC, WERC,
U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, and
Unemployment Insurance Division.

She provides advice and training on all aspects of employment law including such topics as discrimination, harassment, disability accommodations, FMLA and other leaves of absence, hiring and firing, discipline, employment agreements, employee handbooks and policies, wage and hour issues and unemployment compensation.

Vicki also provides a broad range of legal services to individuals seeking to immigrate to the United States on either a temporary or permanent basis, as well as employers seeking to hire foreign labor on either a temporary or a permanent basis. Vicki regularly works with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. Department of Labor, the Department of State and consular posts abroad.

Vicki received an Associate in Applied Science degree, with high distinction, from the University of Minnesota-Crookston. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of West Los Angeles. Vicki received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Vicki is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Minnesota and Wisconsin. She is a member of the Wisconsin School Attorneys Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She was recently elected Vice President of the Wisconsin School Attorneys Association. In October 2008, she will move into the Presidents position.

Vicki volunteers for many local nonprofit organizations, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin and the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce.
