Frederick W. (Ted) Fischer - Weld, Riley, Prenn & Ricci
Ted is of-counsel to the firm, having served
for 30 years as Eau Claire City Attorney
and four years with Weld, Riley, Prenn &
Ricci, SC. He provides advice and support
to the firm in Municipal and Administrative
Section.

Ted previously served on the staff of the Madison City Attorney's Office and for many years also represented the Eau Claire Area School District. He has been an officer of the State Bar of Wisconsin, International Municipal Lawyers Association and Wisconsin Municipal Mutual Insurance Company.

A graduate of Carleton College and the University of Wisconsin Law School, Ted is admitted to practice in state and federal court in the State of Wisconsin. He is also admitted to practice before the United State Supreme Court, having represented the City of Eau Claire before the nation's high court in the landmark case of Town of Hallie v. City of Eau Claire.

Currently, Ted is president of the Board of Directors of Senior Citizens Employment and Training, Inc., a non-profit agency providing employment and training opportunities to low-income older workers in the Chippewa Valley area.
