Tanya graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in political science. Tanya received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Eau Claire County Bar Association.

Tanya grew up on a family farm in Prairie Farm, Wisconsin. She is excited to be back in the Eau Claire area and is active in many community interests and organizations.
