Ryan concentrates his practices principally in the areas
of employment law, general litigation and appellate law.

Ryan is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Law Section. Ryan practices in the areas of employment law, general litigation and appellate law. He serves and defends employers on a wide spectrum of employment matters, including breach of contract claims, wage and hour disputes, unemployment compensation disputes and discrimination claims filed under the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act.

When defending employers, Ryan utilizes his skills and expertise to resolve cases in the most cost efficient manner consistent with client goals and expectations. He provides advice to public and private sector clients on wage and hour law, independent contractors, confidentiality, non-disclosure and non-compete agreements, disciplinary actions and terminations. Ryan has defended cases in both state and federal courts throughout Wisconsin.

Prior to attending law school, Ryan worked as a professional caddie at several world famous golf courses. Ryan still enjoys golfing and spends time with clients and friends on the area courses in the Chippewa Valley.

Ryan graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and he received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Ryan is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar Association and the Eau Claire Bar Association. Ryan is married and resides with his wife in Altoona.
