Melissa has worked as an insurance defense civil
litigator in Wisconsin and Minnesota, both in private
law firms and as an in-house attorney for a national
insurance company.

Since joining the firm, she has concentrated on worker's compensation defense, representing and advising employers and their insurance carriers on the subject of work injuries. She also advises and represents insurers in coverage disputes.

Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, with a major in public administration and minors in both speech communication and political science. Melissa received her law degree from the University of San Diego.

Melissa is a member of the Eau Claire County Bar Association, the Chippewa County Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Association of Worker's Compensation Attorneys.
