Laurie is a member of the firm’s Business Section
and her practice involves advising and assisting clients
in all estate planning matters.


Laurie's practice includes the preparation of wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, irrevocable tax planning trusts, special needs planning and prenuptial agreements. She focuses on helping clients determine their personal objectives and then develops strategies and identifies tools to meet those objectives. Laurie also counsels clients in probating and administering estates, handling guardianship/conservatorship matters, and related real estate issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Laurie graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Anthropology/ Archaeology from the University of Minnesota. She earned her master's degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and taught fourth grade in Amery, Wisconsin for six years. She received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Laurie is the Treasurer of the Eau Claire County Bar Association, a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Junior League of Eau Claire. She presents locally on topics of estate planning and estate administration and has contributed legal articles to the Chippewa Valley Business Report.
