Laurie also practices in the area of estate administration and other probate proceedings. Prior to joining the firm Laurie graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Anthropology/ Archaeology from the University of Minnesota. She earned her Master's Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin and taught fourth grade in Amery, Wisconsin for six years. She received her JD from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN.
