Business and Real Estate
Brian is a member of both the firm’s Government Relations
and Business and Real Estate Sections. He serves all levels
of state government and currently serves as an attorney
for multiple towns.

 

Brian’s areas of focus include zoning and land use matters, ordinance creation and enforcement, negotiating and implementing development agreements, taxation matters, open meetings and public records laws and general governance and operations. Additionally, he represents private clients in development, legislative interpretation and enforcement, administrative and regulatory matters.

In addition to his governmental practice, Brian practices in all aspects of business and real property law, focusing on transactions involving the acquisition, development, construction, sale and leasing of residential and commercial real estate, including office, mixed-use, retail, industrial, condominium and multi-family residences.

Brian received his undergraduate degree in business administration (magna cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and his juris doctorate (cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Brian is currently the Treasurer of the Chippewa County Bar Association and is also a member of the Eau Claire County Bar and State Bar of Wisconsin.
